Its really quite beautiful if you stop slashing for a second and look around haha.Īfter you beat the game you can continue to slay people and upgrade your guys armor and weapons. (in my opinion) For such a small system the really pulled out the details of the characters and the landscapes. There are hundreds of different gladiators and classes of troops to fight, along with a long list of weapons and armor to collect and customize along the way. You knock off the other fighters Gear while hitting them and get to keep it after the battle. You can choose to fight with your fists, Sword and Shield, Duel Wield or any combo you can think of. You have various attack options and skills you can set for special moves. Even leaving Cut wounds and blood decals on your foes as you constantly ravage them in the harsh dusty Arena. The combat system is beautiful! Smash Bash and Slice! Blood Guts And Gore. Your main goal is to pay back your debt to your "Slave Mast er" and earn your freedom. The Story itself is not super evolving, you kinda just fly around place to place trying to please various emperors bloodlusts and steal the hearts of queens.

Making you do things 3 times or more so that you really got the Idea of how to fight in the arena. The training levels were excellent for getting you into the game.
I started off playing as this butch muscular gladiator with one eye and no sense of what the hell I was doing. I picked this one up at a decent price thinking "well if it sucks i didn't drop a ton of money on it" hahaĪfter receiving the game I was introduced to an addictive little RPG/Live Combat game. I had just bought my PSP and was looking on Ebay for some cheap deal game grabs just for pure entertainment. Great Gameplay and Graphics, A must have for Gladiator fans all around!
